I have a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer 35U with a side by side Norcold Dometric fridge freezer. The water line for the ice-maker needs replacing as it dried up and cracked. Has anyone had to replace this line? Does the fridge have to be pulled or can it be fed through from the ice-maker inside the freezer? could use some advise.

Usually you have to move the Refer forward to get enough room to get to the line. It depends on the installation but you may be able to repair it without complete removal if you're lucky.

This damage is due to the coach being plugged in during cold months and the system winterized. The power to the ice maker water line heat tape needs to be removed or it bakes the tubing. Pulling the refrigerator completely out is the best method and other maintenance can also be done at the same time. Pulling the refrigerator out completely is not hard. Doing it so many times, I have it down to a 2 hour job. I would allow for twice that time if you have never done one. Be sure to check the LP gas system for leaks when you get it back together. If you need help; send me a message.
