No hot water flow, cold ok

Having problems with the hot water system. No water flow from the hot water faucets, cold works just fine. Suspect the water heater bypass vale or valves are stuck in the closed or shut off position. Any idea on how to gain access to those valves. I have a 2008 Everest 334J. Anyone have any ideas about how to gain access to those valves or exactly how that bypass system works. There are 2 handles one marked "winterize" and one marked "bypass". Which one do you think is stuck closed?

Some water heaters also have check valves on outlet and/or inlet ports and it is apparently common for these to fail shut. Mine has three individual taps but yours is obviously different

Guess you are sure there is water in the hotwater tank

No hot water

Thanks Tony for that info. I am thinking the problem is with the check valve at the tank. I can see a fitting but not sure it is a check valve. Will take it off when i locate a new one or a straight fitting. Thanks again. everest08

Sounds unusual but make sure if you have an outside shower faucet that it is turned off. LOts of post on this issue have made that suggestion. Mine is not to reason why.

No hot water

Thanks for your input. I took the hot water line off from the tank and found the check valve on the tank had stuck in the closed position. I cleared the plastic part out inside the valve and will replace the valve when I get back home. Will have to change before winterizing. Your inputs were very helpful

I would suggest you start with the easier stuff first. I had this exact same thing and in was calcium build-up i the valve bodies in the handles on the hot water side only. Once I replaced the valves bodies it worked fine.
