No power to splendide 2100 w/d

My bedside control to my heated mattress pad shorted (almost caused a fire) and caused my Splendide 2100 combo washer/dryer to stop running. Now there appears to be no life to the Splendide. The red light no longer comes on.
It appears that the plug under the bed where the heating pad was plugged and the W/D are on the same line. Does anyone know if there is a reset button/fuse on the W/D itself? The breaker did NOT trip.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have power to the washer outlet? If you do, the main board may be toast. I can't recall if there is a fuse on the board or not, but a call to Westland Sales will provide an answer. They are very helpful.

Can't imagine that the problem with the heating pad would cause any damage to the Splendide.Plug something you know works into the washer/dryer outlet. A hair dryer or lamp would be good. There may be another outlet on that circuit that has a ground fault built in. If so the GFI could trip and the breaker not trip. Also actually cycle the breaker off & on. Sometimes they can look ok but actually be tripped.

Have you checked the outlet for 110v. I would start there. If no voltage at outlet, check for a tripped GFI somewhere in coach. If there is voltage at the plug, call Splendide and get some advise from them. If there is a fuse on the Splendide it will surface mounted on the control board... Good luck with this one...

Thanks for the quick response. Pulled the unit (a big B) and found the surge guard literally blown in half. This was found with the help of Westland Tech support. On my way now to pick up a replacement.

Update:
Installed the above surge guard (see pic) and all is well. The most difficult part of the whole deal was:
#1-pulling the combo out of cabinet. To do this I had to remove the cabinet doors and latches, the 4 screws at the kick plate, and squeeze the incredibly heavy beast through a tight enclosure.
#2-hooking up the dryer duct. Because the space is limited, I had to remove the vent from the outside of the coach and pull a new duct through the opening as the combo was eased into place. I also rigged a cord around the water hoses and pulled them out of the way through the same vent hole.
BTW-I had to coax a young man working at this campground to help me lift the beast back into the enclosure. Also, I thought of changing the belt since I had the back of the W/D open but the Westland Sales tech discouraged me because they rarely break.
Hope I never have to do this again.
