no start on onan GQ 4000, no spark

hello all
i have an onan gq4000 generator that will not start due to no spark at spark plug, and no 12v signal at ignition coil. need help in diagnostics, or direction insofaras where i could get wiring diagrams for circuit board, and spec sheet for this unit. thanks in advance for your time and effort in this matter.
