Norcold 1200 4-door

Hi,

can somebody with a 1200 NORCOLD Fridge tell me about two connections on the circuit board.

There is a black and white cable and on the board the contacts are labeled with "12V Flapper heater" and the other one is "flapper sensor".

Which color goes where?

Tried to get some info from NORCOLD but there techn. Service over the phone sucks!

Thanks

Michael

The Norcold 1200 service manual (pg 40) states to attach both to the board. To me this means it doesn't matter which terminal. The flapper heater is on all the time the frig is operating.

Couldn't read the labels on the circuit board but on mine the black wire is on the right as I face the fridge.

It can kill the circuit board if you put a connector on the wrong spot, $500 right there.
that was the reason I didn't connect them

Thank you for opening your service door and looking at the cables, that was what was needed.

Thanks a lot, Old-Biscuit.
We have another board on our fridge.

After I received terrible customer service from NORCOLD, I complained to the assistant of the Executive and......

Voila, I received a phone call today from a tech and he confirmed the answer of rag_ftw.

Thanks a lot, again.
