If they are there, yes, the bearings go bad and they due sometimes made noise just like in a desktop computer.

With all due respect, you need to check your manual on your Norcold 1200. They certainly do have fans on the top of the heat exchange coils and they can certainly become noisy. At least ours certainly were. (We now have a residential unit.)
The only way I can see gaining access to these fans is by removing the refer. You really cannot access them from the bottom and if your top vent is like ours, you cannot access them from the top either.
Dr4Film had a good writeup on a "work around" he installed on his Norcold before he replaced it with a residential. His alternative was to add exhaust fans to the top vent. These fans provided additional air circulation to the back of the refer which helped with the heat transfer from the condensing coils. In his case he was not trying to solve a fan noise issue so I do not believe he disconnected the fans that are already mounted.
