Looking for experiences good or bad. I've either got to take the coach to a service center or my preference would be to change it myself. My masking tape fix works just ok, not great.

If you take to a Norcold service center no problem. You maybe could change yourself.
After looking at mine with a slite tear on upper seal large door the gasket is wedged around black frame of door that would have to be taken off. Two screws at pivot point of door maybe starting point.
If you look on how to install decorative panels and picture diagrams of what is removed to do this the panels around door also holds the gasket alot more work than the Domedic refers gasket replacements I have done. You may only need the one gasket replacement. I'm going to get some rubber cement
sealent for my tear.
Your seal maybe still ok, JoeT found this wrong with his refer a simple thermister on his cooling fins that was defective.

How does one adjust the doors on a 1200 LIRM to be "tighter" if you think they are some what loose? Is there any adjustment mechanism or adjusting screws to tighten the door on the seal when closed?

Clayton, if the door contact is even all the way around then there will be no adjustment to make it tighter. Then new seal(s) will have to seat in after being installed I may take a week or two but eventually they will perform much better.
