The roof vent may be good enough for electric mode of operation but the 3/4" flu/chimney for lp gas burner could be blocked. Also look for a small hanger wire at the top of the chimney, under the elevated cap. This holds the baffle at the proper height to force the heat from the flame outward and allow for good heat transfer to the generator portion of the cooling unit. If it is not there it has either fell off (very doubtful) or the unit was service and the baffle was left out.
Joe, did you buy the coach new? If not, do you know the service history of the refrigerator?
I have seen all kinds of strange things done by individuals; wrong burners installed, baffles left out, even wrong installations by the manufacturers. It takes a goods technician to find these issues when they happen.

Mike, I bought the unit used from the original owner and he was meticulous in his service and records. He didn't say or enter anything about the refer. As soon as the rain stops, I will attempt to get onto the roof and check that vent.
