Talking Norcold 1210

I had a Norcold 1200 ref. and it died the other day. I replaced it with a Norcold 1210 and I find the doors don't close as easy as my old unit. Aren't the doors supposed to close by themselves?

Ours doesn't. We give it a little push and hear a click to know it's closed.

Unless you have the coach tilted to fridge side doors will not swing closed as your home fridge might.
Its best to push closed until you hear the click as Cliff mentioned.
Welcome to irv2.

This is a bone of contention around our coach. The doors on our do not close by themselves and require a push until they click. Otherwise cold air will continue to pour out... and the milk will spoil!

DW is still working on overcoming years in the stick house where the doors will swing closed by themselves.

Your refrig. at home has a magnetic strip in the seal and all it has to do is come in contact withe the frame to seal. On your MH refrig. it has a latch that holds it shut while travaling and takes a little effort to latch.
