Norcold 1210 Refrigeration conversion to HVAC

2007 Tiffin Phaeton, just completed the conversion of my Norcold 1210 to the HVAC system provided by JC Refrigeration. Talked to JR about his unit and he explained the procedure and provided a video on the installation. Ordered the unit at a cost $895. plus shipping of $225 to my home address. Removed the unit and followed the video instruction for installing of the HVAC unit. Went great but had too many wires at the end. Called JR and he was very happy to guide me through the wiring of the unit. This is one of the best investments I have made to upgrade my coach. The unit is preforming exactly as it was stated. I highly recommend talking to JR with JC Refrigeration on upgrading your old gas/electric refrigeration unit. View the video on conversion at the following: https://jc-refrigeration.com/videos/

HVAC? Heating, ventilation, air conditioning.

Welcome to the forum ... very interesting unit. I am guessing that this converts the RV refrigerator into residential type operation while using the Norcold box. Also guessing ... the reason to do this rather than simply going to a residential would be to avoid the process of fitting a residential into the space?

Did you get the 12 volt version or the 120 volt AC version? Do you boondock? I would be very interested to here how this unit will perform boondocking.

So far my Norcold 1200LRIM is still working very well, but I just had a friend lose his RV to a fridge fire. He had the above mentioned fridge.
