Our Norcold 1210IM has stopped cooling. I shut it off for a couple hours (forgot to turn it back on again right away) while we refueled and it hasn't cooled since.
Here's what I have done and know:
The display is showing normal without any error messages.
When it is set to AC, it will start up and run for two minutes and then shut off.
When it is set to LP, it will start up with good flame and burn at least 48 minutes that I can confirm as of this moment. Periodically I will hear something else start running but again it shuts down after 2 minutes even though the flame continues to burn.
The outside coils do not heat up whether in AC or LP mode.
It has had the recall done to it and none of the recall lights are lit.
Downloaded the Service Manual and ran the Diagnostics Mode for higher number serial numbers that begins on page 49 of the manual.
Thermistor Fin Temperature shows 53 - getting that temperature from the diagnostics display screen #3
Screen 8 of the Diagnostics mode seems to me to be the problem - The lower right hand LED - "DC power to Ignition Circuit" is never lit regardless of AC or LP.
Still reading the service manual but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a good flame and is staying on it will take a while for system to cool down. Its not instant.
When working normal the tank you see at base of cooling unit will get hot.
What you hear will be your cooling fans cycling as temp rises on cooling coils which is normal.
Your freezer plates in freezer will be the first to feel cool.

With a 100 page PDF and multiple boards the power board may have a problem.
Either your loosing 12V or ground to it, I'd check the fusing supply for fridge and ground wiring feeding off your main 12V fuse panel.
If the panel has screw connection for wiring could be there.
You say there is no trouble indications on your fridge control panel would indicate a power lost to me.
The older 1200's have a reset procedure that I did not find yet in your PDF,you could try that.

I understand you have 12V but you need to check fuse panel where it comes from for good tight connections. Something is becomming loose when you lose the 12V for your control boards.
Someone else had a problem with 1210 and turned out to be the power board, I'm looking for it, the thread that is.

Thought I'd let everyone know that it was the cooling unit that failed on our Norcold 1210IM. We took the RV to Shipshewanna IN to the Amish RV Cooling unit factory. They inspected our unit and determined that their was leak in our cooling unit as evidence in the burner area. You could see the bright yellow stain on the insulation. We are scheduled for replacement cooling unit tomorrow. I would like to thank those who replied to our thread. I appreciate your help and continued support. This is a great forum with extremely knowledgeable people.

Dave you have made a good choice they will take care of you very well good people.
Will have to remember your shut down, one of the newer Norcolds also, they sure have problems.
You will not need the recalls with Amish cooling unit.
