Norcold 1220 ref not cooling properly

Norcold ref the freezer seems to be OK, but the ref is not as cold as normal. The fan I am used to hear is not running, I believe there is a fuse for the fan circuit but I am not sure where it is. Any one know about the fuse and fan switch?

Full manuals available in the " Files " drop box , just to the right of your " User CP". If you don't have one. Fuse may be covered by the plastic shield on the control circuit board at the back of the fridge.

You can normally take off the roof cap or the upper vent and look down from the top of the unit with a flashlight to see if the fans are running. If they aren't when the condenser is hot, then check for power from the control board. If you have power to the fan circuit, another thing to check is the thermal "snap" switch. It is normally mounted on the condenser fins or somewhere on the tubes near the top of the cooling unit. It should turn on when the coils are around 130-150 degrees. Lastly, it could be worn out fans or they could be clogged up with dirt and not running up to speed.

I found the temp switch was not making good contact with the coils. I wiggled it and moved it tighter against the coils and the fans have been running since this morning.

Thanks, Ed
