We have a Norcold 600 series in our ' 95 Winnebago Vectra. We are having issues with it and suspect that the Thermistor needs to be replaced. As we reside outside the US we can't take it into a authorised repair facility so we have to do it ourselves. We are trying to find some instructions on first how to check the thermistor and secondly how to install a new one.
Can anyone help us please.
Many thanks.

Thanks for your prompt response. That was most useful - we have checked and found that the Thermistor is defective. We have been able to source one from Mobility RV but we are not sure how to change it. It appears that one end is attached to the Eyebrow board and then runs around the back of the fridge and out by the fin - we are hoping that we don't have to take the fridge out to replace this
Any suggestions please.
Many thanks

A late response most have cut the wiring and spliced the wires within the box. Mark the fin its on and pull clip off fin. Splice wires and dress slack to side of fins than re-clip back on its fin location.

welcome imback61970, to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Be sure the click on "user CP" and give us the coach information in your signature. Tis helps us help you if you have technical questions.
I am sure you have the coach level; right?
Are you operating on electric mode, gas mode, or both?
If you climb up to the top vent cap or side vent; do you feel hot air dissipating?
If you have an infa-red temperature tester; you can measure the temperature of the boiler and absorber. They should be the same. The boiler or sometimes called the generator is above the burner and next to where the heating element is, The absorber is the horizontal tubes above the tank.
Let us know what you find and we can go from there.

Without knowing the exact temperature and going on the symptoms you have stated; I suspect you have a bad cooling unit. It could be low on refrigerant or has a partial restriction. Both are incurable without replacing the cooling unit.

To change the thermistor remove the Eyebrow board from the Eyebrow assembly as disconnect the cable or thermistor from the Eyebrow board.
