Norcold 982 Series C5 Showing

Our Norcold is showing a C5/back up and the manual says it's not serviceable and needs a tech to look at it. Does anyone know of any trouble shooting I can do to try and get back running?

Thermistor in food compartment (sensor on FIN) has failed

Replace it........with a Snip-The-Tip rheostat controller.
Easier then trying to pull new thermistor wires from food section down to control board
