Hello, I have a Norcold N822RT refrigerator.
When on 120 volt operation the refrigerator works great, mid 30's on setting #6.
When on propane I need to adjust the setting to 9 to have temperatures in the mid to high 40's.
Has anyone had similar experience? If so what did you find? I will also make a phone call to Norcold technical department.
Thanks for any information you might have.

When was the last time you serviced you fridge?
You may have rust particles blocking the burner flame from its full output.
Need to place on AC operation and let burner cool down.
Place a paper towel over burner tube and gently tap the chimney side wall and rust will fall down to base of burner area.
Than vacuum area out and observer the burner operation.
You may need to clean the sensor for burner operation may have carbon buildup. Be careful with sensor its ceramic element.

Thanks !! I looked on Norcold's website and found this in their FAQ's:
My refrigerator cools well on AC but not on LP Gas. Why?
Most cases the decrease in LP performance is caused by a dirty burner. Burners must be properly maintained as outlined in your owner's manual. Service should be performed by a service center.
So a search on the internet....and found this article. Click here
So like you said, the burner is probably dirty.
Thanks !
