The cooling fin drain trough/tray was plugged (water in bottom of frig. and floor in front). With air tank blew out the 1/4" drain hose - heard "tinkle - rattle - rattle" somewhere. Poured water in tray and drain was good.
Took the outside plastic cover off the frig. and found the cause for the "T-R-R" mentioned above. It was a small plastic hose end piece that prevented bugs from crawling/plugging a hose. NO HOSE! Back inside and removed the vent from below the frig. trying to see where the drain exited through the floor. It didn't! No 1/4" hose found that far down. Back outside and high up mixed with the frig copper tubing was a plastic tube. Should have known the drain tube didn't exit out the bottom of the MH as remember that last water poured into the drain tray that disappeared? It was on the floor behind the frig about 14-15" below the newly found 1/4" drain tube. The plastic bug proofer also fit the hose perfectly.
Even our SunnyBrook Trailer exited the drain through one of the air vent holes in the outside plastic cover - wonder why the manufacturers of a $200,000+++ MH haven't figured that one out yet.
Yes, we did note a small shallow plastic pan which was probably meant to catch the draining water however our hose ended 6-8" above the pan and with in-motion airflow would play heck catching the water.

The Norcold is designed to drip water into a cup where [hopefully] it evaporates from the heat of the cooling unit. It mostly works ok, as long as the tube doesn't clog up from mold building up around that bug filter.

You were fortunate with your Sunnybrook - many manufacturers who use Dometic fridges do not bother with the drain tube and simply let it run out wherever it ends. I've seen numerous ones with water running down onto the floor or down the back wall. Shameful. At least Norcold provides what is supposed to be a solution without requiring an external drain.

Something is not right whether it is a Dometic or Norcold. The Dometic drain lines are usually corrugated plastic that deteriorates and breaks apart over time. I have not seen the Norcold units have this problem or a drain line that is as short as Hal has found. Hal, let us know what make & model you have and if the unit has ever been serviced before. Thanks.
