Norcold Electrical Question

My inverter powers my Norcold Ice Maker while underway without campground power. If I plugged the 1210 refrig into the outlet used by the Ice Maker, will the inverter run the refrig on electric? Isn't that basically how a total electric coach works?

As long as your traveling the alternator will charge the house batteries for the 12v control board and inverter working off house batteries will operate the electric elements for heater pipe in fridge, just make sure you move plug when stopped at CG.
The outlet maybe split for shore line power 110 and 110 off inverter for ice maker.

Since my Norcold 1210 quit working on propane this past May I have been running it on electric the whole time. When traveling, my 2000 watt inverter runs the Norcold just fine. Note, it takes nowhere near 2000 watts for the refrig to run, that's just the size of inverter/charger I have installed.
