I have a 1210 IM . Don't know if I'm in a very quite campground or my paranoia is increasing but it seems the fans in my refer( back of unit ) are coming on more frequently. This morning they were coming on every 7 minutes. Outside temps were 65 , fridge was set on 6 . Fridge was 26 degrees and freezer was -10. I raised temp by setting unit on 5. I guessing the setting of 6 was too cold and not necessary. Any thoughts??

Cliff, I've found in testing my new Amish Cooling Unit that the higher the number setting, the harder the fridge has to work to stay colder. This causes the fans to run more frequently. When I tested on #5 the fans ran pretty much all day. I'm now testing on #3 and the fans don't run near as much.

Sammie. I now have 5 in freezer and 32 in fridge @#5. The -10 that I posted for the freezer this am was probably not accurate as the boss told me the thermometer was touching some frozen food. The fan is running and outside temps are of course rising. At least its not cycling every 7 minutes. I'll leave it on 5 for today as we like to keep it at these temps and will see what happens tomorrow.

Here is something that may be of interest.
Your fans are working OK with your settings as Sam said you turn up fridge is going to work harder and cause more heat for fans to remove from vent area.
If the sun is on that side or just a hot day fans will work all day doing their job.
Its when you do not hear them you should worry.

Are these fans in all refers or just the 4 door ones. I've read some post that they have never heard a fan. I can only surmise that they don't have any.
