I am moving your post to the appliances section for better visibility. Hope someone can suggest something to help.

There are several things to try. You may need check to see if your fans are working on the back of your unit. These are factory installed and if your fridge is getting warm you should hear them run, if not you may need to find why they have stopped, thermal switch located on the top of your cooling unit may have failed, some have installed additional fans in the top of the fridge vent on the roof for additional air. The other thing to try is a fan inside the unit, which is mounted to the fins to circulate the cold air inside. These can be bought on Ebay around $15. in the RV section. Lastly keep a eye open for that dreaded yellow powder in your outside fridge vent area, it indicates cooling unit failure. Hope this helps.

I assume you have not had the recall installed or your ref. would have cut off because of excessive heat. After three recalls, i found that one of the factory fans was not working and was likely causing my problem. Therefore, i replaced the factory fan with one purchased from Radio Shack which is an exact fit. I also added two of these same fans on top coil and this made a definite improvement in cooling. I added one fan at the bottom of the coils for additional cooling and two small fans inside the ref.. All of these fans are switch controlled and run all the time when it is really hot outside. Bottom line, keep the ref. cool and you will be fine. Norcold would most likely tell you not to add additional fans because the system is properly designed. I set my ref. on 3 and enjoy a temp. in the freezer of 2 to 4 degrees and 34 to 36 in the ref.. If you add inside fans, keep adequate space for the air to circulate.
