The units are not self defrosting so ice will form over time.
How long does it take to ice up?
Are you full timing in it? Do you leave it on all the time?

It is normal for the frig coils to ice. You also have to defrost the freezer every 2 to 4 weeks depending on use and weather.

A Norcold will sort of self defrost the refrigerator fins every 4 days. If this is not happening, the most likely cause is the thermistor which is attached to one of the fins in the back of the fridge. You can replace it yourself and it costs <$30. If you want to try to diagnose the problem more precisely go to Service Documents and download the service manual for your fridge. It will give you instructions how to put it into a diagnostic mode.
