I would shut off and drain the IM tubing. THe first thing to freeze is not the tubing but the blue IM solenoid in-line with the tubing. Even if you drain the tubing, there is still a small amount of water in the solenoid that will crack the solenoid at first chance. Happened to me last when we were in ABQ and it got down to 9f one night.
I thought I saw somewhere info on cold weather fridge op. can't remember if it was for Dometic or Norcold. Not sure if the advice mentioned blocking off part of the vent. Maybe putting a trouble light in the fridge area by the IM line would keep it from freezing.
