I have a Norcold 2 door refrigerator with an icemaker. The refer actually has four doors, with two for the fridge and two for the freezer. One of the freezer doors is strictly for storage, with the second one having the icemaker as well as a little bit of storage.
When the icemaker is off the lever is horizontal or in the 0 degrees position and when in the fully on position is approx. 90 degree position.
The last few days it has started cycling (the lever) from about the 70 degree angle to about the 45 degree angle as if it was on a cam shaft, and doesn't make ice...and every one knows how important ice is...any suggestions as to what may be going on??

You may have an ice cube that is jammed. Mine will do that if the dump is not complete. Try defrosting it if all else fails. Marv

Make sure the water supply is on for the ice maker. Can you feel the ice in the mold? With a mirror and a flashlight can you see how high up the water level is? If it appears too high you may need to follow Marv's suggestions and defrost the unit. I would then absorb some if not all of the water out of the mold. You could use a hair dryer to speed up the process and reurn the unit into operation quicker. If you happen to turn off the refrigerator while the ice maker is in the harvest mode you can overfill the mold when you turn it back on the next time. If you need to know how this can happen I can explain it but I did not want to get too technical and cause confusion.
Another possibility is that the water valve for the ice maker is not seating and has a dripping going on into the mold. Usually this will eventually freeze up the nozzle coming in through the ceiling. If this is what you find then a new valve is needed. Good luck and let us know what you find.
