Norcold N611lt not getting cold

help. The green light is on and not flashing but my fridge is completely hot when I came in from work and all the food is ruined. I switched it over to gass for a few hours but still not cooling. What do I do?

Contact an RV service technician. Could be many things.

Could be many things from a controler board failure, amonia leak, bad electrical connections or possibly the build up of non-condensable gas in the cooling unit.

Go through the troubleshooting section of your manual or log on to Norcolds web site and follow through with the step by step instructions. It will lead you through determining what you can try to do to get it going or tell you if you just need to call a service tech.

Like they said, lots. If you don't feel comfortable testing anything, then don't. Pay someone to come check it out.
You need to give it a minimum of 8hours to cool properly.

Inspect the back-side for a yellow residue and an odor, presence indicates a boiler-tube failure, which requires replacing the cooling unit (not entire frig).
Before panicking though, try some stuff that costs nothing. Is the thermistor firmly attached to a cooling fin(top rear of frig compartment)?
Go to Bryant RV download page and download the service manual for Norcold 600 series refrigerators. Follow the flowchart for diagnosing problems.
Hope the service manual helps, if not, return to this thread and re-post your findings-or lack thereof.

Do you have a large box of M-80's to place inside and light?
