Good afternoon. I'm having an issue with my Norcold N621 refrigerator...When I started it for the 1st time this season it was throwing a code (can't remember which one) an RV guy came out to my house did something to the back of it and it worked again, but 3 days later ...nothing again and same code. He came back tested it, called Norcold and then told me I needed a new circuit board, he wanted almost $400 for the board and labor, there was no way I could afford that so I went the ASAP website and purchased the 6212xx circuit board to replace my 621267 board, I had a friend with knowledge in electricity come and put the board in for me and that is about as far as we got, the fridge powers up but throws a "C" code for " DC voltage to the refrigeratorcontrol panel is too low." So my question is, do we need to do something further to "jumpstart" or "unlock" the new circuit board? Any help would be so extremely appreciated, as we are leaving next week for our 1 st trip and I really prefer to not be without a fridge

You must have a full 12 volts supplying the refrigerator control board for it to function properly, even when using propane - have you checked the supply voltage to the board to verify voltage? Also, if that was a Dinosaur board, there is a jumper strip on the board that MUST be set to the proper location for YOUR specific application, since these boards fit many different model Norcold refrigerators...

I concur with Gary - K7GLD, your Norcold refrigerator must have a minimum of 10.5 VDC in order to operate. The error code was telling you that your DC voltage was too low. If you are (or were) plugged-in to shorepower, your converter/charger output certainly needs to be checked.
Concerning the 6212XX board you purchased, the following is from Dinosaur Electronics:
INSTALLATION -- Please note that all of the connections to the board for the: AC, AC Heater, P1 Cable, P2 Cable, or P3 door, DC Heater or Flapper Heater, +12V, GND, Gas Valve GND, and the Spark Wire are all labeled the same, and in the same location as the original factory boards!
SELECTION JUMPER!!! You must ABSOLUTELY properly position the selection jumper to correspond with the board that is being replaced.
The selection jumper is located in the upper left hand corner, right below the printed letters RoHS. The jumper is a plastic “slide on” piece that covers two upright pins. Make sure it is in the correct location -- the 67 position.
Hope this helps.

I actually had a faulty plug that my refrigerator was plugged into, and if I plugged it directly into an extension cord it ran, the outlet that the refrigerator plugged into was throwing out enough juice but as soon as I plugged the fridge in it would poop out...but now that it is working fine, it seems that the freezer is getting NICE and cold but the fridge compartment isn't getting cool at all..Hmmmm. Does it ever end?

Your fridge is doing fine so far the freezer will get cold first, the fridge box will take a good 12-18 hours to get to its temperatures.
Place only cold foods from your house fridge and do not pack in food needs space between items for cold air to circulate.
