If you have access to a drill, go to a hardware store and pick up a piece of 1/8" flat steel or aluminum. Attach it to to the bottom of the refrigerator door, offset at one end so the hinge end can be precisely drilled to fit over the hinge pin. I used short metal screws, countersunk into the metal strip and also used some good adhesive to attach it to the door bottom. I also used a small plastic/Teflon washer between the metal and the hinge. My fix was done five or six years ago and going strong.
