Norcold Ref. N821

My Norcold N821 LP/AC fridge has been not working on AC but works on Propane. I have gone thru the diagnostics procedure, and it showed the boards were good, but possible AC heater failed. Just ordered a new one heater. Hope I am on the right track, anny comments?

Check also the fuse on control board for AC elements.

I put the new AC heater on, but now I am getting a Thermistor Shorted code. I ordered a new one for $13. If that doesnt work I will just order a new power board. I have checked all fuses, 2 on board, and checked AC voltage, DC voltage, all good.

Thanks for feedback.

I may be having a similar issue a Norcold 1201. The freezer appears to be cooling fine, the fridge compartment is not. I discovered that on AC I have some type of short to ground - which makes me suspicious of either the heater element or the circuit board or both. I've moved over to propane to see if the fridge compartment cools any better.

I finally fixed my fridge, it was the front control panel on my N821. I think it was the heat here in AZ, it is really taking a toll on my electronics. Now I have a new power board as a back up.

Thanks for the replies!
