Norcold right door lower hinge problem

My right door lower hinge broke at the door side mount. Does anyone have experience in repairing the outer black plastic frame?

I neglected to mention the motor home is a 2002 Monaco Windsor and the fridge is a four door unit.

Yes, mine broke too. I had 3 - 2 liter soda bottles on my door and hit a speed bump going way too fast. When the rear wheels hit, the door hinge on fridge broke and spilled everything on the floor.

So I made a metal bracket and screwed it on to the door edge. I post pictures in the next post.

This was the condition of the right-hand door of the NotSoCold when I first bought the coach from the original owners in 2003. (First two photos) They used the coach for 18 months before selling. So the hinge broke sometime within the first 18 months of being new. That tells you what kind of POS the door hinges really are.

I had the left door hinge break first. (Second two photos) Fixed it just like the photos show. I had an used right-hand door given to me with a good lower hinge that had not broken YET. I covered that one with the JB Weld prior to installing and both worked great until the day the fridge was put to rest in a junk yard.

Two Part JB Weld saved the day.

I don't miss the NotSoCold for one nanosecond.
