Almost finished with my rewiring on my restoration on 2005 Jayco. Have four wires leaving water heater but only about four feet long, rest burned in fire damage. Heater looks to be ok. I am assuming it is elec/gas. Just took a quick look today and noticed three lines all with cutoffs on them. Are all the controls in the water heater closet itself. I hear of a circuit board and switch. Is this something that was at the other end of the wires and was burned up. If someone can give ma a run down on what I need to be looking for, would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Jerry

Go to the bottom of this PDF and it will show wiring for your WH. You may have the switch's located near your display center 110 switch & 12v switch with red led.

The model number on the water heater (located in outside vent panel) will indicate if the unit is both electric and gas. Find the schematic that corresponds to the model; for parts and wiring. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks guys, I definitely have gas/elec. water heater. Outside panel door showed everything there to be in good shape. The wires I am trying to relocate come from the water heater up the wall. I have 4 wires coming up. Red, yellow, brown and white. The schematic should help. Thanks again
