Hi..I bought an old Hughes Autoformer at a pawn shop for $25.00(don't laugh) and it appears to work. It is a 30 amp box according to tech support at hughes that was made by the previous owners of autoformers and they know nothing about them and will not support them. It has a male and female 50 amp plug on it. I can't fiqure out why Hughs sold it that way when it only protects one 30 amp leg. It has a switch which is manual, auto and off. Maybe someone has an old user's manual for it or can explain 50 amp plugs on a 30 amp box. There is no model # on the tag. Thanks for any support.
