On demand water heater

I just read in this month's Trailer Life that you should not blow air through the water lines on an RV that has an on demand water heater. Never heard of this. Has anyone else?

My Thor owners manual says its OK to do. I think the water heater manual say so too.

Did they say why not ?

Nothing in my Owner's Manual, except limiting air pressure to 30psi or less for the entire blowout process. Nothing in the Truma water heater manual, either.
