Onan 4k Microquiet Won't Start

Hey guys,

First time poster here, and pretty desperate. I've read for hours, and I spent many hours today trying to troubleshoot my generator using the tips I have read.

My Onan Microquiet 4k generator will not start! I have tried both the inside remote panel and the start button on the generator.

The voltage reads well to every part I can reach. It also reads well at the solenoid when I press the start switch. The batteries are full. I tried jumping the solenoid. I tried using emergency start from from battery. I reached in and the fan was stuck, so I loosened that and it moves fine now.

I attached a link to a video I made of the noise I have currently. Does this still seem like low voltage? Bad starter? Getting voltage to and from the solenoid, but not sure how to test the starter.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Bendix bad in the starter.

Could replace or buy a new starter.

Try DBelectricial.com on eBay too.

Lost count on how many items I bought from them.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I figured I would have to drop it and throw in a new starter. Only 30 bucks on Amazon with 2 day delivery I guess.

Does anyone know what it would cost at a shop to replace this? On a time crunch, but not looking forward to taking this unit out to get to the starter.
