Onan 8000 Fuel Usage

I am curious as to how much diesel fuel my Onan uses when in operation. I know it will depend on the load, but, let's say the air conditioners are on/off all night in moderate weather and we are dry camping.

Will it use as much as a gallon per hour?

Don, Hope this helps. Click on your model and then click compare. This should take you to a page with specs for your generator.

The following is how much fuel your generator will use at different loads.

No Load - 0.13 gph (.49 l/h)
Half Load - 0.49 gph (1.85 l/h)
Full Load - 1.02 gph (3.86 l/h)
