This past weekend was our first prolonged use of our Onan Emerald 1. We ran it 32 hrs straight, and used about 19.5 gallons of gas. We ran the A/C (mostly on high), microwave, TV, and a couple fans the entire time. I was curious if this is normal fuel consumption? I;m not complaining because I actually thought it would have used considerably more, but when it didn't, it got me curious.

For the loads that you mention, your consumption sounds about right. My Onan 8KW diesel is rated at 0.49 gallons per hour at half load, and I would expect a gasoline unit to burn closer to 0.65 gph.

Your pretty much on the money for usage by a gas gennie, about .6gph for what you were using.

I had the same genny in my '92 E350 Four Winds. Under light loads it would get 1/3 gal hr. Under heavy loads (A/C) it would get upwards of 2/3 gal hr. So looks like you're right in the ball park.
