Welcome to iRV2.

Are both you coach and chassis batteries fully charged , some motor-homes the
gen set starts from the chassis ( engine start ) batteries.
If your coach is a gas engine chassis , the gen set may not slide out, is the gen set one one side of the coach or the front ?
Are you trying to start from a remote switch or the start switch on the gen set.

If your getting nothing, look near the batteries for a Hi-Amp circuit breaker.
A bit smaller then a playing card, with a lever to reset. It will have a battery cable that comes from a main switch, near the battery and a cable going to the generator.

Using a volt meter to follow the power from the battery to the generator will help.

The generator on my MH has a poor connection on the ground cable. They used a sheet metal screw into a price of thin steel. That is another place to check.

If you look at the red light on the generator start switch if should be blinking a code. You can look up the code in the manual.

Send a message via AIM to tmw188
If it has a salesmen switch I would start there and be sure it is on. Keep it real simple and don't go down that long road.

If the gen set isn't running and the coach is on shore power there's a chance that the shore power is wired in-correctly . Hot neutral on the 110 wiring , sometimes referred to as reverse polarity.
