Onan generator, what kind of antifreeze?

Need to add more coolant. What type should I use. The level is low enough that I can’t even see the color in there service!

Mine takes plan old 50/50 antifreeze.

Should take the same as your engine . But check around on the rad of the generator for a sticker as sometimes they are filled with propylene glycol which is not compatible with ethylene glycol.

Get the model number off the generator and google it for an operator's manual. It is nice to have for getting info like fluid types, error codes, etc.
