I had to do a double take when I read your post, as I was sure I was on the Fumoto website when I found the drain valve I needed. Looking closer at the web page now, I see that they sell both Fumoto and QwikValve (not sure what the difference is). As you stated, the F-107 QwikValve needs an ADP-710 adapter to convert it from 12mm to 1/4 NPT. Thanks for the clarification, I almost missed that!

I noticed I didn't specify that I bought the F107S which drains from the bottom versus the F107 which has a side drain. The drain at the bottom of the generator is recessed and accommodates the adapter but I don't know if the adapter is long enough to get the F107 clear of the bottom of the generator. There is no issue with the F107S.
