A question regarding my Onan generator maintenance:

I have purchased new spark plugs (167-1638) but I cannot find what the gap is supposed to be set at?

I have scoured the owners manual and simply don't see this bit of information.

It should be .025in (.06mm)
Pull one of the old ones out and see what it is set to. Unless the electrode has burned off it should give you a good idea of what they were set to originally.

Thanks for the reply. Where did you find the gap is supposed to be .025? I have downloaded the Onan manuals but cannot find a spark plug gap identified.
