Original Microwave

Our '06 HR Admiral's origional convection microwave had been replaced with a standard microwave before we bought it. How can I find out what the origional was? Thanks, Tony

Looking at several online ads it appears that it may have had a Sharp Microwave.

The fact that it's been replaced also points to it being a Sharp because they had a very common problem of running 59 seconds and then stopping.

Some people, like me, got it repaired. Others simply replaced it.

Find one you like to replace it with. It does not have to be original.

Oh if you do replace it and you have an inverter/charger of some kind just make sure that the wattage matches. The previous owners replaced the inv/char with a rebuilt 1500 watt msw and a 1.6kWz micro/conv oven. The micro/conv oven was trying to pull a little much for the inv/char and as a consequence popped. We have now replaced with a 3000 watt psw inv/char and Thom got the micro/conv oven to work partway. It may just be a $80 part or a new micro/conv oven too. So very expensive to not make sure things match .... grrr

That's what I've decided to do. I'm trying to find one close to the same size so I wont have to modify the cabinets too much. Thanks alot, Tony
