Panasonic backup monitor will not open

We are the new owners of a 2001Country Coach which has a multi functional radio, CD, backup monitor in the dash.....CQ-VA707WEUC..model.......I had to change the chassis battery the other day, thus disconnecting the power to the radio/monitor.....and now the monitor will not open and come out of the dash. After checking the manual I have learned that you can put a security code in the unit which electronically shuts down the monitor. I have two problems here...first I do not know the four digit code, nor do I have a remote to reprogram the unit I'd I knew the old code. Surely this has happened to someone else in RV land....please share with me if there is a way to unlock the froze shut monitor.....there is power to the unit...stereo still can be played...but cannot get to the radio controls nor the monitor for backing up.....thanks

Panasonic backup monitor will not open

Hi,

I have the system you are discussing, but don't know what to tell you, except that you might get more replies if you posted your question in the Country Coach Owners section.

You might also try https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...tions/messages

Which is the Yahoo Country Coach owners group.

Luck,

Bob
