Portable Surge Guard Question

Shortly after purchasing our MH last year, I bought the Surge Guard 50A portable SG instead of the permanent mount. To help minimize the chances of it growing legs and walking off at a CG, I was thinking of leaving the original MH cord inside the storage bay, laying the portable SG also inside the bay and hooked to the original cord. I would then buy this extension from CW http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/product/extra-heav...-3-8-1-stw-cord/4132
and run it to the power pedestal. In most cases, I believe the 15ft ext would be long enough and not suffer from much voltage drop. Any input would be appreciated.

I would recommend you laying the SG on its back or vertically. You should not have noticeable voltage drop with the extension cord you linked to. Good luck and keep us posted
