I have a 2004 Coachman class A Aruara 3460. My wife called me today & said there is a water leak under the bathroom vanity sink. She is in St Louis & I am in Charlotte. She has been able to isolate it as long as the city water is off & she bleeds the pressure off after using the water. I will be flying out on Sunday morning to fix this. I know the water lines are a form of plastic lines , I assume they are pexs. I have read that there is a fitting called sharkbite that snap together that can be used to repair these. Has anyone had any experience with them? What tools do I need to take with me? I have a basic set of wrenches , screw drivers , sockets, & Channel locks from about 1/4" to 1" & metric the same sizes at the RV. Please keep in mind I am flying comercial airlines and can not take a lot of tools and no chemicals such as glues or sprays . If I need any of these I will need to buy them there.
Any help with how to repair, or where I may get supplies on Sunday or Monday in the St Charles area would be greatly appreciated.

It might be something as simple as a loose connection at a faucet or a fitting. Channel locks or pliers will work well. If the leak is in the middle of a PEX line, you could cut out the bad spot and use sharkbite connectors to splice it back. You probably have all the tools you need in the MH already even if you have to replace a section of line.
Good Luck!

I hope you are right. I wasn't planning on making this trip until next week. It will basically be a quick trip, fly out repair the water leak easily (I hope) & fly back Tues morning. One may think, why is this crazy guy flying commercial carrier instead of having some one local come fix it. The cost is redicules. But I get to spend a little time with my wife & I work for the airline, so the flight cost is negligable.
On top of the water leak we also had the awning fill with water in the storm Tues night & in the process of my wife trying to get the water off the awning collapsed & broke the fwd arm & bent the verticle drum.
When it rains it pours.

shark bite works well, I assume a 1/2 inch line? cut out an appropriate amount of water line, anout 1 inch, hold back the lip on the shark bite splice and slide onto water line, pull back slightly to make sure you have a good connection and repeat for the other side. As far as tools if your restricted,as what you can transport is a single edge razor blade. Just make sure you have a nice straight cut
