Power Cord Roller

Our motorhome just has a pigtail that gets routed out the bottom of a compartment. Every time I unhook I have to pull the 50 amp cord all the way out of the compartment and then coil it up in the compartment. I have been looking at cord reels but all of them appear to be for what I would call a extension cord.

So would I need to disconnect the pigtail, and add a plugin on the coach and a connector on the end of the pigtail or is there a better (easier) solution out there?

I don’t have a cord real either but my guess would be find where your shore power comes into your transfer switch and start from there. Less plug ins the better IMO. Get the correct cord reel and it should be obvious how it hooks up to your transfer switch.

Not a cheap endeavor, but MORryde has several options. Check out Amazon. Not sure about the connection, I'm a roller... LOLClick image for larger version
