Power Gear Problem

I have a 2004 Fleetwood South with a hydraulic problem. I parked and was setting up when my hydraulic for the leveler jacks and slideouts stopped working. The "engage parking brake" light on the control panel is on and won't go off even when the parking brake is engaged. I checked the fluid and it's fine. Help!! I'm stuck in an Illinois corn field and can't level or put out the slides. Thank you!!!

I suspect the red BRAKE indicator, on the dash, is not lighting either. Right?

There is a switch attached to the parking brake foot pedal (or lever) that is probably out of adjustment. You can try "wiggling" the wires near that area after the brake is set. It may close the switch. I have to do that often on my old Bounder.

Mine did that on a trip to CA in the winter time. Had to wiggle switch to clean contacts every time we stopped. Didn't like the cold weather, because it work every time now.
