on 2 occoasions now i have fully retracted the power levelers on a 2005 Dolphin workhorse and was not able to start the engine. several full cycles were required and finally the engine started. i visually confirmed full retraction each time. Anyone know how to troubleshhot the switching and also would like to have a bypass circuit to start engine if levelers are confirmed visually up.

This will not help to resolve the issue but try this, before attempting to start coach release the emergency brake. The safety mechanisms in place will cause the levelers to fully retract closing the solenoid allowing power to flow to the ignition.
