power loss to tv with water heater

If I turn on the electric water heater, the TV in the living room looses power and shuts down, if I have the TV on first then turn on the electric water heater the TV goes off. No breakers or gfi tripped. Works fine if I use the gas water heater. After the water heats up and the load drops, the TV will come back on by itself. Not sure whether it is a wiring problem or a problem with the TV. anyone else have this problem?

Check the voltage coming into the RV. Check the voltage at the TV plug. Check the voltage both places as someone turns on the water heater. The TV probably won't operate when the voltage is too low.
