I'm having a problem with batteries not charging and circuits not getting power when plugged into shore power or genset on, but circuits will work with inverter on alone and batteries will charge by engine. Checked breakers in normal house panel and are ok. All circuits not working are in breaker panel with inverter breaker. I am getting power into coach for circuits not in seperate panel. Have been told this could be power switch(power switch model ts50s/Todd engineering)also have been told this company is no longer in business. The coach has Heart Interface inverter with an Echo charger seperate, green LED on inverter shows OK but green LED on Echo charger is blinking(manual states this means batteries are below 13 volts).Any info greatly appreciated.

If you are referring to the larger 1000 to 2500-watt Heart Inverters they have a very large, usually 200 to 300 amp in-line fuse between the batteries and ground, or in some cases I've seen them in the positive side. You might check and see if you have this fuse. There not cheap either. About $40 for a new one.

If the fuse is good, check and tighten all connections, especially the grounds.

Replaced power transfer switch and still have problem. Coach has 2000 heart inverter,is large fuse for AC power that is switched through inverter or for entire inverter, because inverter works fine by itself(everything that is supposed to work in just invert mode works fine). Thanks for info.

The fuse refered to is for the dc side and is not the problem is the inverter puts out power. I believe you will find that the transfer switch inside the inverter may be your culprit if the circuit breaker itself is not tripped out. You may try giving the inverter a good RAP when pluggede into shore power and see if the contacts are just stuck. Otherwise you mayu have to have the inverter repaired.

I'm not real savvy on computer lingo, pretty sure RAP means hammer and not something else, but you didn't say what ounce hammer to RAP with!

Removed inverter from coach and checked fuses- were OK. Was able to get inverter to a Xantrex service center and the front board had gone bad(AC board I was told). Unit is back in coach and eveything is working great. Incredible service from Bill to get me fixed up in just over an hour, thanks again to all with assistance, this gets me out of a major bind as I have to leave for Louisiana tomorrow for awhile.
