Power system says "no service when connected to 115 AMP shore Power
Hi, all of sudden, my refer went down and lost all the food while parked in the yard with shore power from the house. I am on a 15 amp circuit, the Magnum Power Control systems is set for 10 AMP max but the batteries are not charging. My Power control system has an error message "NO Service" I checked the extension cord, checked the voltage, it just seams my coach does not recognize the power input. I have a 2014 Tiffin Phaeton, 42LH. I already reset the inverter. Any ideas of what next to check will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry you're here with problems.
The problem may be with low power, the power protection on the coach may shut down if the supply voltage is below it's threshold ( 104V ? on some 99v on others) Are you testing the extension cord with a voltmeter ?
Tried to power the coach from another outlet from the house? Checked all the circuit breakers in the RV ?
Talked with Tiffin?

Your extension cord maybe just to long and voltage drop is excessive. Just my 2 cents worth.

Sounds like your coach is performing exactly as it should, it is protectingitself from low power.

Thanks for the replies, I took out the Honda generator (120 volts, 13.3 amps) and hooked directly to the Motor Home. No luck, the power center still shows "Power Source as No Service". Can you think of something else?

I can think of several suspects but first: Is coach 30 or 50 amp?
If 30 amp: Bad 30 to 15 adapter
If fifty amp add bad 50 to 30 (or 15) adapter
Bad connection shore plug
Bad connection Shore cord outlet (if detachable)
Bad connection RV INLET (if cord detachable)
bad connection transfer switch (if such exists)
Bad connection main power distribution panel Screws loose (Very common) UNPLUG before tightening
And that is just for starters.

Most portable generators will not power an RV with an EMS because they have a floating neutral, it is not not bonded to ground. Read why in the link below.
