Power When there Should be None

I have been hanging around gaining valuable knowledge for the last year and a half... Haven't had a reason to post anything because I have always found an answer to any question I had simply by reading. Haven't been able to find anything which addresses a new problem I have with my MOHO.
I have a '10 Damon... The CO/LP detector (a Safe-T-Alert) is wired to the load side of the Battery Disconnect. Use to function normally - Batteries in Store Position - no power to the detector. Batteries back on line - power restored to the detector. I have noticed that now when the disconnect is in store position, the detector remains powered up.. All of the other 12V devices and lights turn off and on normally when the disconnect is engaged/disengaged. Not that I thought it would correct the problem but I replaced the detector - it is over 5 years old anyway - and the new one (an exact replacement) does the same thing... No...Shore power is not hooked up. Anyone have any ideas what caused it to begin doing this as well as a solution. Thanking y'all in advance

Time to get a voltmeter out and start tracing the wire. There may be another path of 12 volt to the detector.

Give it 5 minutes after disconnect then see if it's off. I think it may hold a charge for a bit before it bleeds off.
