Priming the toilet

We owned a 5th wheel several years ago and the toilet had 2 foot pedals...1 to flush the toilet & 2 to activate the water pump and fill the bowl. We now have a DP with a Dometic (Land/Sea) and it only has 1 pedal that flushes the bowl...only. We also have a hose/spray that is also only activated when the pedal flush is opened.

My question is.... We currently fill our bowl manually by pouring glasses of water into the bowl.... Does anyone have the same problem and have you found a better solution? Is there anyway to "re-wire" the hose/spray to work independent of the foot flush?

Place your foot under the foot pedal and raise it. This function fills the bowl
