Our unit has worked well up to now. We started a normal load, the wash cycle started normally. We left for a couple of hours. When we returned the unit was off and it hadn't completed the cycle. The clothes were soaking wet with water still in the drum. I have tried everything but can't even get the unit to power up. I know I have power at the plug. The manual refers to resetting the cycle but the unit is dead in the water. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to my unit.........it was a bad mother board. cost $350.00 and now it works just fine. I replaced the board myself so no labor to pay. Its an easy fix.

Had the same problem and it was the board also. Is a spendy little item but easy to replace assuming access to the back of the machine is not a problem. Remember when moving the machine, it is VERY heavy. The replacement board is suppose to be a new design that won't "burn" like the original.

Call Westland Sales Customer Support and they will walk you through diagnosis and you can order the parts direct. They will even walk you through the repair if you like. They are GREAT!

How much of the back is required to access the board area? I can remove the dresser drawers and get to the back of the machine, where is the board located? Hopefully I wouldn't have to move the machine as I've had to get into the back 3 times so far to fix water leaks caused by both the coach manufacturer's and Splendid's failure to winterize the machine when new.
I haven't had this problem yet but usually problems like this are fairly routine and if one machine has the problem all the rest will also sooner or later.

I replaced mine last year. The board is located in the lower right corner at the rear. You have to remove the large back panel to get at it. The back panel is held in with several screws, as I recall. I think you are going to have to pull the machine out a ways to remove the panel or to get the board out.

If you're facing the back of the machine, the module board is located to the far left, roughly half a foot off the floor. You have to first remove the two, size 15 Torx Head screws that secure the module board to the case (from the outside). The company then recommends that you (gently) tip the unit on it’s left side (looking from the back) and take the wires out of the retainers on the Module Board Housing. Lastly, you'll have to remove the wire connectors from the module board and lift the board out of the unit. It's actually easier than it sounds. The folks at Splendide Laundry Centers Customer Support Center will walk you through the process.
